Louis XVI Side Chairs

Beautiful antique vanity chairs featuring a hand-molded frame with a square shaped back and slightly arched top rail.  Original pale "french gray" paint boasts a naturally aged patina. Acanthus leaves, foliage and rosettes add decoration to the shoulder, crest and knees.  The chair's backs are embellished with a lovely arrow tied with a bow, and a carved bowed front seat rail and round fluted tapered legs finish the look.  The chairs feature upholstery crafted from elegantly striped fabric.
